We just received the fantastic news that our demo paper, “Dispatch: Making the web secure and robust for citizen journalists,” has been accepted to SIGCOMM 2013.
SIGCOMM is the flagship conference of the special interest group on data communications of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), the world’s leading computer science association, responsible for the Turing award. At SIGCOMM scientific results on networking applications, technologies and new networking protocols will be shown and discussed. This year for the first time in history SIGCOMM will be taking place in China.
Dispatch will be part of a selected set of 20 demos that were accepted from a peer-reviewed process and will be presented in a separate session to all conference attendees. We’re excited to demo and discuss the app with new, global audiences. Other developments in the works include a new User Interface and potential partnerships with media organizations.
